As Arsenal's search for a world-class no.9 continues to dominate the transfer window, the reports now claim it's either Gonzalo Higuain or Edinson Cavani whom could Arsenal could sign on the Deadline Day.
El Confidential journalist Kike Marin has made bold claims suggesting Arsene Wenger is to go all in for Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain on the final day of the transfer window. The 27-year old, who scored 29 goals for Napoli last season has been a long-term target for the Gunners who failed to sign him last time around when he made a switch from Real Madrid.
While El Confidential's Marin says Higuain is the North-Londoners' top target, another Spanish newspaper suggests otherwise, claiming that Edinson Cavani is whom the FA Cup Champions will try to lure away from Paris Saint-Germain. Fichajes have reported the Uruguayan hitman as Arsenal's top target and the one they are going to sign on the Deadline Day. Some other journalists namely Emanuele Giulianelli have also hinted the deal could go through.
The PSG Forward scored 31 goals in all competitions last season, has been consistently deployed in a wider role making him unhappy at the club, while a feud with Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given him another reason to force a move away.
