Arsenal are going to bid for Karim Benzema again next summer, reports in Spain are suggesting.
The Frenchman was the Gunners' top target of the summer transfer window, but they failed to negotiate any deal, if they ever planned one. Arsenal's 2-0 win over Stoke City only raised more concerns, as chance after chance went begging, and a game that should have been sealed in the first 30 minutes or so, required an Olivier Giroud header at the 85th minute to guarantee the hosts three points.
Per Fichajes.net, the North Londoners still haven't given up on the 28-year old striker, as Arsene Wenger is planning another swoop for the Real Madrid forward next summer. Surely, the Arsenal fans can afford to keep their hopes alive, in that case?
In other news, there's still some fuel left in the "Edinson Cavani to Arsenal" rumours, the Uruguayan reportedly wanting a move to the Emirates Stadium in January as per Fichajes.net (who else?).
Cavani - who has already found the back of the net four times in five appearances for PSG - was another one of Arsenal's top transfer targets, but in this case too, they simply couldn't strike a deal despite all that money.
