Chelsea have announced the signing of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Stoke City on a four-year contract.
The shot-stopper has signed a four-year contract, making him the Blues' second major signing of the summer, following a season-long loan deal for Radamel Falcao from Manchester United.
The 28-year old made 172 appearances for Stoke City, remaining the first choice goalkeeper throughout his five-and-a-half year tenure.
Speaking to ChelseaFC.com, Begovic said: "I am very happy to be joining Chelsea FC. After speaking at length to the manager, I feel like I can develop here and be an important part of this team. I am looking forward to meeting up with the team on Wednesday for the pre-season tour."
